About these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Stackd Local, a Stackd Labs service based in Ontario, Canada. By using this website, submitting a form, or purchasing a Local Visibility Action Plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site, submit a form, or complete checkout.
Informational website
The website provides general information about local online presence services. Content is not legal, accounting, financial, or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions about your business, website, listings, marketing, and accounts.
Free Online Visibility Checkup
The free checkup is a limited first look at public information we can reasonably find, such as your website, Google and map listings, reviews, and how public business information appears in search or AI-assisted discovery tools. It is not a complete audit, continuous monitoring service, or verification of every listing, statement, or platform.
Submitting the form does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or other professional relationship. We may decline or be unable to complete a request. Paid work, including the Local Visibility Action Plan, is covered by these terms and any separate proposal or agreement that applies to that work.
No performance guarantees
Search engines, map services, review platforms, and AI systems are controlled by third parties and change frequently. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic level, lead volume, revenue, review outcome, inclusion in an AI response, or recommendation by Google or any AI system. Checkup observations reflect the public information and tools reasonably available when reviewed.
Local Visibility Action Plan purchase
The Local Visibility Action Plan is a one-time CAD $299 purchase processed by Stripe. By completing checkout, you agree to these terms for the Action Plan and confirm that the purchase covers one business, one location, one primary Google Business Profile, and one primary website.
Standard scope is one business, one location, one primary Google Business Profile, and one primary website. The Action Plan is delivered within three business days after payment and receipt of the details we need. It is a public-information review that does not require passwords or private account access, and we do not make changes to your website or listings as part of it. It is not a continuous monitoring service and does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or inclusion in any AI answer.
If we determine before substantive work begins that the purchase falls outside standard scope (for example, a multi-location business or an unusually complex website), we will issue a full refund rather than hold the fee while proposing separate work. You may also cancel for a full refund before delivery if no substantive work has begun. Refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider.
The $299 fee is credited toward Improvements you approve within 30 days of receiving your Action Plan. The Action Plan is a one-time fee, not a subscription, and no recurring charges apply unless you later approve separate work under its own terms.
Custom Quotes and Improvement work
A Custom Quote request is available after your Action Plan is complete. Requesting a quote or scheduling a call does not commit either party to paid work. Any Improvements, website build, or ongoing Care begin only after you approve a separate written scope, price, and timing.
Intellectual property
Stackd Local and its licensors own the website, branding, designs, copy, checkup methods, templates, and other site materials, except for third-party content and information you provide. You may use the site for your own lawful business evaluation, but may not copy, republish, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from it without written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits.
You retain ownership of information you submit. You give us a limited permission to use it, along with relevant public business information, only as reasonably needed to process and respond to your request and operate the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not use the site or form to:
- break the law, infringe rights, impersonate another person, or misrepresent authority;
- submit confidential, sensitive, malicious, or unlawful content;
- probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or its security;
- send spam, automated bulk requests, malware, or abusive material; or
- request work for a business you are not authorized to represent.
We may block, remove, or decline requests that appear unsafe, unlawful, deceptive, or abusive.
Third-party services and links
The site may refer or link to third-party websites, platforms, profiles, or tools. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, or decisions. A link or reference does not mean we endorse the third party.
Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the site and its information useful, but provide them on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stackd Local and Stackd Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the informational site or free checkup. Our total liability arising from the informational site or free checkup will not exceed CAD $100.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, including any liability caused by fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence where exclusion is prohibited.
Changes and ending access
We may update the site, the free checkup, or these terms. Revised terms take effect when posted, with the updated date shown above, and apply prospectively. We may suspend or end access to the site where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, misuse, legal compliance, or service changes.
Ontario law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights you cannot waive, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Ontario.
